OR you could get a camera instead of trying to use your phone as a camera. Then just worry about a phone that works.

pwnd wins the thread. That is the correct path of truth you should be going down if all you're worried about is the camera.

Nokia 6300 http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_6300-1800.php
Stainless steel housing
2mp camera
Top phone for less the £100
Sony Ecrisson K800
3.2mp camera
Easy to use
Also available for less then £100
VGA sucks. The first camera phones released back in 2002-2003 were all VGA. VGA is 0.62mp I believe.
MP doesn't really mean much tbh it's the quality of the sensor that defines the picture. The SE has the best camera in the cheap price range, it still holds it own up against all these 5mp+ phones.

Just as Pwnd said. Buy a cheap phone that doesnt have any of the useless crap, then buy a camera that fits your needs. May cost a little extra, but well worth it.

and if you feel like getting a nicer phone without the contract plan, any tmobile sim card should work in any tmobile phone....just buy a full-priced tmobile phone from ebay or something. and VGA is bad. very bad.
The downside of this is you are looking to pay ~250 - 350 bucks, but compared to the contract plan price, this might actually save anyways.
Dont buy a full-price phone from a tmobile store....they will overcharge because they get their money from contracts, not phones. Checking a legit online retailer that sells off-contract phones is a good bet. watch for people selling stolen phones....if its used, try to get the serial number and call it in to tmobile.
Looking for info on a phone, this site has some nice details. Just search for tmobile, or unlocked. (most unlocked phones sold in america are compatible with tmobile....ask your carrier first)
